In 1908, John Frazier, father of W.D. Frazier, purchased 190 acres from John Stone for $5,000. Frazier, a veterinarian, died in 1919 (41 years of age) of tetanus. His oldest son W.D. took over the farm. In 1922, W.D. married Nan Jarvis. Together they had 10 children. To the heir's knowledge, W.D. acquired and additional 110 acres from the Stone's at a later date. To support the family and put serval children through college (3 at one time) W.D. raised cattle, hogs, sheep, horses and mules to trade and tobacco.

W.D. Frazier died in November of 1966, leaving Nan with an invalid daughter, Nancy. Nan Frazier died in June of 1984. Nancy passed away in 1993 after living in Ridge View Nursing Home for less than a year.

Mike Frazier, 10th child, purchased 50 acres of the family farm while attending Carson Newman College. The heir's deeded Clay Frazier 4th child, 10 acres; Clay in turn sold the acreage to Heath and Benji Shuler after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

1n 1992, before Nancy died; Heath Shuler and Dr Roger Jenkins purchased 133 acres of the family farm, excluding the home place. Delbert Morgan bought the remaining 115 acres. Together, they paid $600 an acre.
